1989 Mustang SPI

well I haven't for quite awhile. other then waterbase with a roller and brush.

The old place I was renting was getting torn down and was searching for a house to buy. Then getting moved and settled in. Been here two years now, and still haven't painted anything at my new place. Spent most of last summer, scraping sanding and painting the garage.

But this weekend will be working on my brothers truck, the factory paint is falling off his rockers. I painted his passenger lower door just before I moved a couple years back because of the same problem.

Then the following weekend, probably will be doing some fiberglass repair and painting a hood on a 68 mustang eleanor replica. So slowly getting back to it.

I just hope the forecast isn't what they say and getting up to the 90's this weekend. Geez.

Ordered a few things from Chad, but slacked getting the order called in, so hopefully it somehow makes it here by the weekend, he's been dang quick in the past.

Just realized I hadn't posted many updates!

The 5.0 capri's had 5 lug wheels if I remember right? I remember street racing in the 80's and 5.0 mustangs were easy but one Capri pulled right with me, the wingnut that owned it had put a warmed over 351W in it. What engine is going in the red car?

I dont believe there was any 5 lug wheels on the mustangs/capris until the cobra r's came to the scene in 93.

The mclaren cars maybe, but I would have to check.

The SVO cars (2.3 turbo engine)from the mid 1980's had 5 lug wheels, while the V8 cars had 4 lugs. I thought that was a strange thing for Ford to do.
