1977 Firebird interior color code..

I am looking for a paint code for the Red used on a 1977 Formula.

I don't have any parts clean enough to get a paint sample from, so that's not an option. I have searched online, but I cant find anything definitive on a correct code for this particular red. I assume its a pretty common red for these 70's GM cars.

I've seen the firethorn red paintcode, I just wasn't sure if the exterior and interior firethorn was the same code. I was hoping the 71B might have been something, but I think that is just an option package.
 
I keep seeing "36" as a paint code. Not sure if that's for interior or exterior. Might be the same.
 
3/4 of the way down of the second page of the chart I posted is the #71 Firethorn trim. The PPG Ditzler vinyl UCV code is 2-291 and regular Ditzler code is 72145.
SEM, OER and a couple others make it and give it their own number. I can’t say how good the match is. May be worth seeing what Chad can offer.
These Firebirds are a real pain with all the obsolete paint codes
 
Even with the codes it's very hard to find formulas for todays products. For a relatively modern system PPG Deltron had/has "DBI" which was just a variant of DBC specifically for interior finishes. If you can find the formula in DBI you could get it mixed. A lot of the old PPG/Ditzler numbers don't cross over anymore.

If you look at the last pic Eric B posted you will see that 71 does correspond to interior trim color. Leave off the "B". That and some of those Ditzler/PPG numbers would be were I would start. Have my doubts that they will cross over though.
 
So the red showed up, everything is masked off I open the lid and it's metallic base. I'm kinda gun shy on this one. I don't know these cars very well but it's hard to imagine it has a metallic interior color. Anyone possibly know?
 
Ya I knew the answer before I even made the post. Oh well. I've definitely had more expensive mistakes. Calling Chad in the am. I pretty sure I see the correct code in the above post.

This color is proving to be difficult to get......stay tuned.

Interior code is w0a4751. Cant find it in motobase. There is a firethorn red from 1997 but im nervous that its not the correct color.
