Nice work! Door gaps look great. Looks like a ton of work :) How long did it take you?

Looks great but in the first two pics there is a mustang in the way of the pictures of the 66 satellite!

In the first pic, it's the gold car to the left. I'm sure it was supposed to be the center of attention and the picture taker jerked the camera to the right as he took the picture. Just some mopar humor.

C10chas,

project was started in jan of this year. One of those projects that snowballed into a huge job.......the previous resto on the car really did a number on it....fenders and doors could have been salvagable if the sheetmetal repair was done correctly, same for the quarters. I'm used to fixing rusted out mopars that need all new panels because of rust.....this car need new panels because of the previous hack job. Owner was sick when he saw it in bare metal. Makes you wonder how some people can charge a man for that kind of work...and still be in business!!

Thanks for the pics. That car is awesome. That gives me inspiration. I started out just pulling the motor to rebuild it and now here it is. Soon to be SPI epoxy black.pre-primer 003.jpg

Thats a good thing with my skill level! I am getting alot of info from you guys and this site. Thanks.

blue and red!

got the jambs colored in and the red oxide inside. I gotta say i was a little sceptical about doing the inside red oxide per the customer's wishes. I wanted to do it semi gloss black. Even though it isn't an original factory restoration, he still wants it to have SOME appearance of factory, just cleaner..even if the shade red isn't totally "correct". After i untaped it, it grew on me...even though no one will ever see it when done..LOL.
