So I've been working on this for about a year or two when time allows.

To give you an idea how bad the rust is when you put it out in the sunshine it did not cast a shadow

so repaired the cab - need new floor (front and rear) - new cab mounts, corners (inner and outer) and new braces - and then new door jams etc - the list goes on.

I am new to this and want to take this opportunity to thank Barry and his guys and all of you for the help & encouragement you have given me (and future help ).

Anyways the can now casts a shadow

here is where i am at

Now it is time to attack the frame - I sandblasted myself - as it turns out the chassis is in really good shape - the last picture is before i hit it again to get rid of the last "dark" spots in the pits

Stephen, That is funny, I might have to borrow your one liner. Looks like you have made some great progress.

...coming up my home made rotisserie - you have to do what you have to do :p

You are a bit farther than I am on my 61 Ford truck but building custom suspension takes more time than you would think! At least my floors and cab mounts are good. That should save me a bunch of time.... But the custom sheet metal work will add more time. Yeah the joy! I'm loving every minute of it ;)

Stephen, looking good, just talked to Stephen and getting ready to spray the bedliner as we speak.
Should look good and it will be my favorite color!

Sprayed the bed liner on - it looks fantastic - click on the images for a larger view

remember it looked like this a long time ago - feels great to be getting somewhere with all yours help !

Looks great, I think this is the first bedliner I have ever seen tinted with the SPI red.
