We have worked on and off on this Camaro for a few years. This was our first major rust repair project. The floor pans were good only had a small hole in the trunk that we patched. This was before Brian was doing all the fabrication and welding.
This is what we started with
I wasn't going to replace the roof until I found all the rust around the back window and rear panel. So we cut the roof off
That small black patch in the trunk is from a Mustang floor pan the ribs matched
Fitting the quarters to the original doors and deck lid before they were replaced
The owner takes it back to remove the engine so we can paint the firewall
After a few months go by we get it back with no engine
Brian sanding
It has been blocked and primed a few times and the owner takes it back now to install a big block
It has probably been a couple of years and we now have it back. There are a few dents in the deck lid.
