I paint like crap.... I sand and buff like the wind
I'm the opposite. I can spray pretty well most of the time, but I hate sanding and buffing. I mean, hate it. Only do it if necessary. Not good at it either.
Are there any imperfections in this paint job? In every picture it looks dead nuts straight and smooth.
I am working on a 65 Dart GT convertible myself - also for the wife. First paint job but not as "deep" as yours. Will be more of a "scuff and shoot" kind of thing.Just a couple very minor ones. This is the best job I have done.... also has taken the longest....

It seems you're in the SW desert somewhere - I envy you for the weather. I am waiting for the 80's clear days here in TN to shoot some epoxy and paint.
My Challenger is been outside in the weather for too long. Needs his garage space back!

Jim, the cast blast you painted your master cylinder with, is it affected by brake fluid? Car looks awesome fella!
