I think this is the car. It's a 1924 Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A cabriolet, re-bodied in 1932. Has an 8-litre engine (that's 488 ci)!

I copied these pictures from Car & Driver site. For the full story, go to http://blog.caranddriver.com/and-th...pebble-beach-concours-delegance-best-in-show/

Chad, you could go crazy modifying all that sheet metal! Roll in some flames down the fenders, lay the grille back, bag it and put some 24's on it ROFLOL.

We have approval to use this car on catalog going to print in next few weeks. Hopefully we can get the proper pictures in this time frame.
Doug is working hard to put this all together.

PERFECT!!! Get it done!!

We got pictures yesterday and approval for foot notes, going to list the restoration shop and the owner.
Brian is putting everything in proper format and should be sent to printer next week.

Our catalogs have arrived today with the front page covered with the "1924 Isotta Fraschini."
So excited we threw away about 200 of the old magazines, so we can start s.ending out with orders now.

I'm gonna have to place an order to get a copy.

Beautiful. Barry, how does your black base compare to this color? I can only hope that my project will turn out that nice.

I don't know as it was waterborne and I have not had any to compare. (sikkens water base)
Pure tint as I understand it.

Doug Kennedy said this car has a multi-page spread in the November issue of Octane magazine.
