    Protectant for fresh paint recommendation

Check out Mequiars M305 'Ultra Finishing Durable Glaze'.....'wipe on, wipe off, silicone-free, high gloss, breathable, paintable (what?), body shop safe'. Mequiars site says it "allows your freshly painted surface to cure naturally. Can be applied immediately after paint is dry!". I have used...

    SPI black epoxy

I have experienced the 'waves of bluish tinge' on occasion. Living in a small holler with a creek running through the front yard and 2 small ponds beside the driveway, there is an abundance of humidity here during the North Carolina summer. That is when I can get the bluish tint. Not all over...

Sometimes the price increases are hard to accept but to maintain a standard of known quality I will continue to use that product. When that products...

I used Rage for a while but switched to Marson Platinum about a year before 3M bought them. Switched from Rage when I had some repair jobs mysteriously develop multiple 'cracks' in the bodywork. All work came from the same can. No change in routine on those jobs. Never in more than 20 years had...

    What are they thinking ?

This was just copied off a list of others and most were cheaper, but isn't this going too far. I know things are stupid expensive now but $112.00 for a gallon of Rage Gold !! Are they using actual gold in the formula now? And I could even make monthly payments on it. Flows smoothly, sands...

    2005 Saturn

I remember fighting that fight back in my collision days. And I think we were still using lacquer primer (1990's). I do remember spraying very lightly whatever we put on there. And did not ever put masking tape on it no matter what. Sorry, have no idea what Saturn used in 2005.
