I finally used the 3000 foam discs. I've done these 5 & 3 more after 1500 & 2000 3m (have it) by hand. Disc's feeling less abrasive now but it'll finish the last 2. Jim, are the foam 3000 ones i got what you tried or the carbide?

Hi all. What are signs one or the other were opened, closed tight, but sat for too long? Wrinkle or alligate? Pinholes?

1500 film 3000 foam. Felt it again, hard to explain, no doubt it's nice & bet it gets the job done quick. I like it, backing is thick. Have to finish ordering gifts & wrap them before i can play lol.

I bought the (3)1500 film (2)3000 foam 5 total retail pack to try on 30sq ft of lexan i cleared. Haven't yet, looking forward to see how 3000 finishes out cause it feels much more aggressive then trizact.

Cold storage, 400g mechanical bond, tough call. "If" i was to remove base, i'd first kick myself & then look at it as final guide coat. I'd also try removing it with reducer soaked rags or spray it. What you pro's think of that?

I don't enjoy watching stuff like that. He panicked, happens. Looked like he shifted into 3rd not 1st. If auto, i remind myself that's what reverse is for. Never tried grabbing reverse with stick. Shine's answer works.

I know nothing about mixing paint, is it possible to use spi white ss as the "base" for jobber to put toners in & shake if color match doesn't have to be exact? Experiment with pints if so?

Some foggers contain oil to help it stick around after fog's gone i was told 20yrs ago.

I didn't help but congrats! White walls- what got the blue off? Reason why i said get blue off asap back then was because i had gotten a set from amazn & man i scrubbed with my go-to wheel cleaner & florida sunshine is what worked in the end.

All by hand except buff. Started with 600 or 800 cause i hosed the clear on. Had to drive somewhere, buffed handle area to assemble. Getting it this smooth before buff makes it nice nice.

I'm thinking the combo of cheap rubber & kerosine fluid (was made in u know where) is the problem. I used scissor jack twice since starting thread. Don't leak down a millimeter. Raised it with cordless impact gun. Shine, i suppose even good rubber gets tired over the yrs. Dirt don't help non...

A scissor jack is what i should've used. I need an extra one. See, i'm a para (1 vert from quad) & it's so easy putting wheel back on if you lift vehicle just till wheel spins. Works great for upper 80yr olds too like my dad heh. When i plan ahead, i place floor jack where i can fit jack stand...

Hey the thicker oil did improve it from dropping in 5min to 60 :) it's back to about 10min now. Next new one i'm dumping oil it comes with & replacing with proper oil. They seem to go bad just sitting in garage. Maybe keep it pumped up 1 pump?
