    Lawn Mower Deck

I wouldn't. Bed liner is pretty tough, but it would inevitably get damaged, and then trap moisture.

    With hesitation

I have learned so much from Barry. I've always asked myself what I would ever do without him. I trust that he has trained his successors well and that his legacy will live on forever. A true legend.

    Allis Chalmers Orange

I used SPI orange on an Allis C a while back. I think it looked better than original. I sprayed it over gray SPI epoxy. Black would probably be a little hard to cover.

    Epoxy Flash Time

A longer cure time makes sense. In many cases parts of a machine may have weeks to lay around and cure before assembly, so cure time isn't usually a big concern. I'm wondering if there would be any reduction in the long-term durability.

    Epoxy Flash Time

Hypothetically speaking, what adverse affects could there be to rushing the flash time of epoxy if it is not going to be top coated? I've been doing some parts to a front loader, which are finished in black epoxy. It sure would be nice to hammer on three coats in a half hours time and call it done.

    63 Vette

I have an opportunity to purchase a 63 convertible 327 automatic. I know nothing about Corvettes, but the C2 has always been one of my favs. Any suggestions of what to look for would be greatly appreciated.

    Turbo 2K primer question

That depends on a lot of factors. If you could tell us a little more about what you are working on, I'm sure you will get steered in the right direction.

    Turbo 2K primer question

It would be best to use epoxy for bare metal spots. 400 would be too fine for blocking, unless you have done some previous steps. I like to use gray epoxy under the black turbo, so I know when to quit.

Shine, I think you're the one that got me started with the Chemical Guys products. Have you ever tried Jet Seal?

    Protectant for fresh paint recommendation

Are you planning to sand and buff it? If you sand and buff later on, you wouldn't have to worry about light scratches from cleaning soft clear and you will have allowed your paint job to fully cure and shrink before going through all that work.

    UV clear advice needed

And give it some time to cure after sanding the runs flat. Sun would be very helpful. Nice work!

I added an aftercooler between my compressor pump and tank and it’s awesome.

I did the same thing with a coil of copper tubing zip tied to the guard. I had to replace the factory line from the pump to the tank, and I had to get whole roll of tubing, so I figured why not. Even my farmer engineered copper tube after cooler drops the temp considerably.

    PPG Concept vs. “Essential”

Over the last 10 or so years, I have painted 4 Ford tractors the same shade of blue. The first one is Concept, the next two are Motobase, and the most recent one is Wanda. I'm very happy with all of them. I don't think you can go wrong in your options.

    Exterior Fiberglass Door

Thanks Jim, that is good to know. I thought it would be like a really fast reducer, and priced similarly.

    Exterior Fiberglass Door

I found a quart of the 890 at a place about 20 miles away for $58.90. Maybe I'm just used to the reasonable pricing at SPI...

Thanks Jim. I'll have to see if Chad can ship me some.
