    Packing peanuts ban 2019

That is an increase of just over 7%, it doesn't seem like much to me.

    Lets build a perfect car

I don't really know anything about the Porsches, I was just commenting on the way this one is hand built to perfection.

Its a 911, but its not about the power, although it does have a little more than the regular production 911s, 607 hp-vs-580 hp. It is limited production (500) and its said that they don't make a profit on them, and at only $258,000 I believe it.

Natural gas and propane are used to heat homes, but I never felt good about kerosene just because of the odor

Don't you want something with a long working time, even after setting the two pieces together? You still have to make sure it isn't pushing the hood skin up too far, or not giving enough support. I doubt that anything that expands is going to give the proper shape to the hood.

My smith torch body looks the same as that, I got it from Dagger in 2013

    Meco Torch

Dagger tools sells a complete kit with low pressure regulators. Several years ago he was selling Smith torches, but I don't know what he sells now. https://www.daggertools.com/m5/DTGW1000--dagger-tools-mini-gas-welding-torch-kit-low-pressure.html

Live it up and order the DVD for a New Years gift, if you plan on using SA for lead work.

    Harder body filler for metal.

Kent uses Sal Ammoniac for flux, but I don't know anything about it. I neutralize after tinning, and do a phosphoric acid cleaning after filing the lead. The way Kent demonstrates it, Sal Ammoniac seems like a better flux than anything I have used.

Alum oxide is harder than glass so it cuts faster, and that works great in a cabinet with suction feed blasting.

Brad, you said glass beads, if that is what you used you might want to try crushed glass. Beads have more rounded edges and crushed glass has sharp edges. Beads can only be recycled once, and crushed glass (I just found out) can be recycled 7 times, so they say. I recycle only a couple times.

Metal Re-working...Saving the Patina and Og paint!

Will, this is being auctioned and I have been following it, you may not care for the upgrades, but I think its awesome. I'm not buying just interested. Surprisingly it only has a couple of spots that need help. This auction is a little different, in that anyone can make comments at any time...

I didn't want to post any pictures because I was afraid someone might ask that. The last time you saw it was after I put epoxy on it, and I'm giving it time to cure good. Hopefully in a couple years it will be good enough to continue, but I am eager to start again, and when I do I'll post it...
