1969 Mustang race car that I have owned since 1970

Today I moved cars around in the shop so I had room to jack up the Mustang and replace the old wheels and tires. The wheels are Race Star 15 x 3.75 in the front and 15 x 10 in the rear with 5.5 backspace and 9 x 30 radial slicks.

Looking at the picture of the collector exhaust diameter I can't help but think how much COOLER yours is than these kids and their diesel "stacks". I bet you that yours would make their ears BLEED! Love the car, love the nostalgia surrounding it.

The last time I raced was 2009 and I went to a NMRA race two weeks ago in Bradenton but had transmission problems. First gear worked.

I had a spare transmission and went over the week end to the NMCA race in Bradenton. This time everything worked but not as fast as I wanted but it was consistent and I can still drive!!

During practice I ran:
11.12 et 118.77 mph
11.08 et 119.03 mph
11.12 et 118.48 mph

Race Day:
11.11 et 111.78 mph shut off early WIN reaction time was .005 .000 is perfect
11.10 et 118.72 mph lost reaction time was .038. My dial in was an 11.07
