Counterfeit Sata Jet on Ebay

Why is this an issue, it clearly is just called a JET and clearly states Place of Origin: Zhejiang, China (Mainland)

Dont buy from China, just Turkey and Germany.

First two pictures say "made in germany" and "jet 5000b hvlp"
 
They cover all the bases: it's HVLP, RP & LV !! Pick one.
In one spec. it's 60 psi inlet max and elsewhere it;'s 29 psi. Nozzle? They don't know what we know;).
They clearly don't know what they are copying but are capable at making it "look" like what they are copying.

Just wanted people to see what a fake Sata looks like as that question has been asked here multiple times.

China and the fact that they were/have been allowed to abuse the whole trade process, allowed to steal copyrighted material, steal U.S. companies trade secrets, and allowed to close their market to US goods while siphoning away hundreds of billions of dollars out of the US year after year, and tariff US goods for years in the hopes that Capitalism would bring about Democracy is one of the reasons why I dislike anything Chinese. Not to mention the gross human rights abuses that just get swept under the rug by everyone doing business with these bastards.
 
Thanks Chris for allowing us to see what fake looks like. I have painter friend that has used Sata for around 30-35 years and he says nothing else comes close to the quality of a Sata.

Yes, and the current happenings against this administration handling it is suppliers emailing letters stating your prices are going to go up 17-25% because of the tariffs. It is doing nothing to handle the other half of the equation that never happens, the big steel companies, big rubber tire companies (goodyear) are the biggest importers because they grew fat by not having people work in this country are not reopening manufacturing, just passing along their bottom line.. Unemployment rates are low because anyone can be a uber, amazon or lyft driver. Put a tariff on steel and china stops sending over the coke to run our dinosaurs and over regulating our coal industry does not allow the US to keep up.

Just in this case, they are really clear that it is not being sold as a SATA. 15.00 harbor freight purple guns are copies of SATAs, so the thread should not be called a counterfeit sata since they are being honest about what you are getting.
 
i dont care if it says sata or not. they still took a sata 5000 and made a copy. they are using the design, r&d and all the engineering that sata has in that gun, stealing that and making a profit off of it. if i design a part or product and it has my name engraved in it then someone takes that, removes my name and puts their name on it and starts selling it then that is still theft. the govt should tariff the crap out of china. ill gladly pay more rather that support a country that continually rips us off in every way.

The one Chris pointed to says "Sata" "Made in Germany". That is theft, pure and simple. Not only are you buying shit that steals directly out of Sata's pocket but you are devaluing used real Satas. Who's going to buy your one year old sata 5000 that you paid $600 for when they see ebay listings for Satas at $120 or whatever? The Harbor freight p.o.s. purple gun may look like a sata but it doesn't say "Sata" on it so to me that's a different deal. No one buying that p.o.s. was a perspective Sata customer in the first place, and it doesn't devalue your one year old sata.
Big difference in my book.
 
i laugh my ass off at people who buy 150 dollar iwatas or satas then whine and cry because they shoot like shit. you got what you deserved. just like i have never bought hot parts for building a car. you buy cheap shit you deserve just what you got. dont want to pay for a real gun , sell your car and buy a fishing pole. minnows are cheap .
