Most of you who talk to me know I don't say you have to use my this or that, I have always said just use a good quality reducer like the DT series or the UR series.
Transtar in the past was one I said was ok to use for years and then out of the blue about 2 years ago I started getting calls with problems mostly in the 5000 clear that requires a reducer.
After a number of these calls, I stopped recommending as I knew at that point either the formula was changed or they went to a cheap source to make the reducer for them.
This is why I like the tech calls, one problem can be anything being the cause but when you start getting dozens of calls the same thing, something is up.
