Autobody help needed for metal work!

Ok after debating on this since Feb I am at the point where I need to find some help! I have a 67 Chevelle I am trying to get
the body fitted up and gapped and having a hell of a time. I had a local shop replace the floor, trunk floor, entire body (except roof),
firewall, cowl, etc....All panels were bought through AMD.

I have got the doors, trunk, and front clip close but I am looking for an experienced person to either come help/teach me how
to get things right. I need panels aligned and the gaps set so that I can start my filler work!

Is there anyone in the Greenville, SC area or one that is willing to drive up and help me out?
Open to suggestions, just tired of going one step forward and three backward and not accomplishing a thing!

I have attached a pic of how I got my car back with the tail extension fitment and then followed by two pics of my work
bumping the metal, cutting, welding, and getting it as close as I could with a skim coat of short strand filler. I have NEVER
done metal work like this before but I want to learn. I have done paint and body mainly on motorcycles for a long long time.

It's way too late to say this, but the body shop SHOULD have aligned the extension with the panels as they went. It looks good now, but you'll need to extend the filler much further out to blend it without a low area close to the gap.
Is the body on the frame with new bushings ? That will change gaps too.

Body is on the frame with all new body bushings. Yes this was the initial coat of filler and I used short strand but since I have built it out with 3m Platinum. Its still just roughed in IMO. Getting things close is the goal and once its all real close I am going over it
all with poly.

I have been trying to get the shop that did the work to follow up with fixing all the issues since FEB!! Im over it and need to move on....

As you can see in the first pic the ground the crap out of the extension to get the gap correct. I replaced the extensions with a good oem set (mine had studs busted) and its funny how I got them to fit far better than they did....

There is no easy way to say this but that is not something that someone (me atleast) would be willing to come to your place and do even if I lived next door, sorry. What I can tell you is that is where you need to figure what is it worth to you and how much can you afford to pay and only you can decide that.
If your looking for tits perfect with laser straight body and gaps that are feeler guage perfect then you will pay heavily that takes a lot of time and patients, blood, sweat and beers. If your looking for having just a nice ride that we'll also take a lot of time which equates to money. Then you have to factor in whether the other shop did things right, there are a boat load of things that can go wrong with fitting things and to have someone or another shop correct the issues would cost more then the original cost you paid to have it done.
With some guidance from here on this forum you can do it.

You're probably better off not taking it back to them, if they couldn't fit the extensions the first time. I used AMD quarter skins on my '66 Chevelle and was very impressed with how well they fit and looked. This was only my second time with quarter panels and it took me a few hours of putzing to get the extension and quarter alignment good before I welded the panel on.

AMD makes awesome parts!!! Putting a few quarters of theirs on this week.

Keep in mind they do not make everything they sell. If there is an X in the part number they do not own the tooling and it was made by someone else.

Correct, and there is a noticeable difference in quality typically.
