My buddy wants a "20 foot paint job"

Here's what it looks like in action: "Hey, we used a bunch of your tape, gloves, strainers, mixing cups, wiping clothes. I've ordered new boxes of each and they are on the way."
Not expected or required, but a super nice gesture of respect and thanks.
Little does he know that strainers are free.

A lot of people don't understand the costs of materials besides all the paint products, nice of them to replenish your stock.

Dean, You're a good man!
Kind gestures makes good friends and promotes similar responses in return. That's how trusted friendships are formed.

Getting close on Tim's VW.
Tomorrow we will spray reduced 2K to fill in some 220 scratches etc, then 400 dry sand the whole thing.
Next day epoxy sealer at 1:1:1
Next day motobase
Next day universal clear

We built this A-Frame to hang all the parts on. It is on casters and rolls out into the driveway easily. Everything is screwed and wired down tight. Looks kinda funky but should make shooting the parts and moving them around safe and easy.

And the body shell is on a cart as well.
Plan is to shoot the shell, push it out into the sun, roll the parts in, shoot them, the roll them out into the sun.
Barry seems to like UV, so UV it is.

I like the cart. Been looking for some ideas to hang panels. :)

My buddy wanted a 20 foot paint job. He's ending up with a 1 foot, really nice paint job.
And he shot it himself. Did the body shell today. Doors, fenders etc. tomorrow.
Here Tim is shooting motobase.

4 coats of universal clear.
Couple little runs, little peel here and there, but it is going to cut/buff out nice.
